RDE 2017 in Review

Retail Design Exhibition in Review

Recently T3 and Tecna Display exhibited at the Retail Design Expo 2017 in Olympia London. Using the show to introduce the new T3 Affinity framework, ideally suited for the retail design and display industry in the United Kingdom.

Working on the same principle as the original T3 System with its ‘Twist – Lock’ assembly method, the T3 Affinity system allows retail designers and shop interior creators to produce immersive and versatile displays.

Users can use the framework to create a variety of their own innovative designs.

“The T3 Affinity system is similar to the T3 System as it allows users to have huge versatility and flexibility when it comes to designing their displays. The fact that it requires no tools or specialised skill sets to install means that retailers and shop owners can install and alter the system easily and without having to employ expensive shop fitters. The T3 Affinity framework allows designers to include the maximum amount of colour and light into the displays which is key for the retail industry, helping them drive up foot fall in their stores and maximise their promotional campaigns."

Products to impact on customers and increase sales.

The RDE show provided the opportunity for the Tecna Display team to design and produce a variety of tried and tested display solutions as well as showcase how the framework can accommodate and inspire innovative thinking when it comes to designing retail innovations.

Some of the products that were on display at the show.

The recently innovated T3Litebox was on show at the RDE show. Designed in four orientations, the structures showcased to retail designers and shop installers that it could be used to completely rejuvenate a shop window or pop up display.

Tablet Holders

A variety of tablet holders small and large were also used to bring an element of the digital to the retail design. The 2 size of holders are designed to be able to contain any size of tablet and can be used to help retail stores to showcase product lines, collect visitor data or show advertisements. The tablets can be put on the own pillar or integrated into the larger framework.

The T3Wandlite was used as a feature display piece. The central tower for the display featured a chandelier created using different sizes of tubes placed in a concentric circle. Another ideal solution for the retail industry is that T3Wandlite can be produced in any RGB colour scheme, this will help to provide a fun, memorable ambient lighting to any retail store or display.

Reviewing the show

The T3 brand has been moving from strength to strength with more and more representative countries being added including the USA and Switzerland.

The show proved that there is a huge opportunity for the T3 brand as a whole in the retail design market. The possibilities that are afforded by the T3 System and T3 Affinity frameworks it was a great starting point for the public to see the opportunity that is available to them to join the Tecna family.

The show also served as a campaign for recruiting more and more distributors to the T3 and Tecna family.

We pride ourselves in building and looking after our distributors extremely well; we value their investment, time and energy, and over time they grow to be like family.”
