Yumark helps students to ‘Dare to Discover’ with a curved modular display wall at the STAR Management Week.
The STAR Management Week is the largest off-campus business and recruitment event of the Benelux and the highlight of the year at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). During the event students get the opportunity to enrich their lives by participating in various activities including including listening to a variety of key note speakers, participate in discussions and make contact with many companies for recruitment activities.
The display was created to help introduce students and potential members around the whole conference.
The display was to remain standing at the university for the full month while the conference was on. It was then to be moved and assembled at a variety of other locations throughout the year. The design needed to be cost effective to transport and easy to dismantle/ assemble at all the following locations.
Yumark’s design process for this display was in close cooperation with the client in order to create an event space that would be effective and eye catching to visitors.
The design for the project consisted of a 6 metre wide x 3 metre high curved modular display wall.
It was created using the T3Frame solution’s fusion and channel extrusions couple with steel and Silverlite graphic finishing. This allowed for the full colour fabric and magnetic roll up graphics to be mounted onto the display. The curved modular display wall was illuminated using a variety of LED spotlights which TWIST – LOCK into the patented connector of the T3Frame.
T3Frame is one of the only modular display systems where profiles can be curved to custom angles. This provides designers with a unique flexibility when it comes to the shapes of displays they can create.

Yumark was able to transport this display structure in a few compact travel cases to the event location. Installation of the structure took a team of 2 people 2.5 hours without the use of tools or levers. As well as the design and installation of the display, Yumark also provided a few services to STAR including flooring, carpet installation and furniture rental. Proving that they provide an exemplary full service to all their clients.
Yumark delivered a fantastic result for this project. They were able to incorporate all STAR’s requested features while creating a structure that could be reused and reconfigured for other events.
The stand was to remain standing at the university until 9 November 2018. However, they must be built up and broken down a number of times. T3 is therefore the best stand construction system (fast building and dismantling).Martin van Maanen Sales and Marketing
