Office Social Distancing for the Peel Addiction Assessment and Referral Centre (PAARC) a community-based counselling agency in Canada.

INTERVIEW 

How has the COVID-19 pandemic impacted your business?
PAARC is a community-based counselling agency. With the onset of the pandemic, we needed to quickly move from in-person service delivery to mostly virtual-based support. During the first couple of months of the pandemic, we saw a dip in referrals to the agency but as the pandemic waned on, we eventually saw those numbers steadily increase. At this stage, we have incorporated a blended model of service delivery that includes video, telephone and in-person. Our clients are presenting more often with challenges that are exacerbated by the pandemic. Returning to in-person service delivery that is safe and protective of both clients and staff is our number one goal.

What social distancing solution were you looking for?
We were looking to ensure that the areas where physical distancing could not be maintained was adequately equipped with protective barriers.

Did you have any specific requirements?
We ‘housed’ many employees within our offices which required us to employ multiple solutions that included mobile barriers and stationary barriers. We anticipate having guests back into our offices in the near future and as such, need to outfit areas that keep our guests safe.

What services did Best Displays provide? (build & install)
Best Displays built mobile barriers that could easily be moved from room to room. They also built stationary barriers that sit between desks to ensure that the risk of spread is mitigated.
